where have the green gone?

wheregreen.png
Perhaps this is just typical kind of topic to many of us out there. But have you ever stopped and saw the amount of green in Bahrain? Almost non! with so much of money going to real estate investments, reclamation, and not to mention deserted lands, my eyes started to yearn for some sight of trees or even shrubs. Why is it that us, the young generation don't care? you know: the least we can do is plant a tree in our houses. If we can't control industrial development that has invaded our little brown country Bahrain, the least we can do is encourage others to care enough to sustain some of our traditional planting in the house: in all honesty, I still love the smell of the plant mashmoom, which thank God, we have in our house. Tomatoes: You say tomatoes, I say tomaatoos ;), why not plant them in the house? What am trying to say is: we may not have time to make a big fuss about Tree/environment day ( lets be honest here: not so many here are keen on caring: unless its something to do with a mega sale at Mango), the least we can do is do it ourselves in our own free time. You will be surprised the feeling you get out of adding more green in Bahrain right inside your little house.
