Yuri Gagarin... the first person in space and the first person to orbit the Earth

On April 12, 1961 Yuri Gagarin became the first person in space and the first person to orbit the Earth. Yuri was born on March 9, 1934 in USSR ,he worked as a pilot in the Soviet space program .Yuri died at age 38 on March 27, 1968 while he was on a routine training flight . .
