Ted Anthony, a loving father of two boys, hugs his children extravagantly. He is the type of father who would cuddle with and kiss his children a lot. He would say "I love you" so often, and hear them innocently saying back "I know". However, Ted never knew how his children feel when he gets mad at them, until one of his boys told him "Dad, you're really big and scary when you yell". This shock Ted so much. To the children, the father is a huge giant. He's loud and scary when he's mad, angry and yelling. Fathers should be gentler with their kids. To avoid getting mad and reaching the point of yelling at their kids, fathers should try some techniques. Fathers should try to be consistent and predictable, because this makes it easier for the children to adapt and know what to avoid doing. They should also apologize to their kids when they do something wrong. The father should try his best to control his temper and not put his work stress on the little kids. It could be complicated to manage the male anger, but managing it through the next generation is simply awful. So try to practice some anger management methods and parenting skills from books or websites. And be gentle with your little ones, because in the end they are just kids!
