The Forget Me Not Flower

forget me not.jpgForget-me-not is small beautiful flower that grows in different colors. This plant grows in shade and not sun, so it definitely doesn't grow in our hot sunny region. In the states, the forget-me-not is the state flower of Alaska. The name of the flower is borrowed from old French "ne m'oubliez pas". They are traditionally worn by Newfoundlanders in July first to remember those Newfoundlanders who died in World War 1. I personally find the flower very nice and I definitely love its romantic name.
