What’s the difference between delete and backspace?

There are few little things in our daily life that we sometimes don’t notice; at Genistra.com we like to make you notice these small things. So have you ever wondered What’s the difference between delete and backspace in your keyboard ? 1) Physical location and appearance : You will always see the back space over the enter button and usually its bigger than the delete button . Also the back space button sometimes it only shows an arrow directed to the left not the ” backspace ” word. In the other hand , the delete button is smaller and usually to the left of the “backspace” button. Also you might see some keyboards writing it in the short way “Del” or the long way”Delete”. 2) Function: The “delete” key gets rid of the things on front of the cursor. “Backspace” gets rid of things behind the cursor.
