1) What is a blog?

A weblog (commonly known as a blog) is a web-based publication consisting primarily of periodic articles .

2) Can i comment on the blog ?

Genistra.com is a weblog that enables visitors to comment on any articles. To protect against malicious comments, I have enabled a feature that allows your comments to be held for approval the first time you post a comment. I'll approve your comment when convenient; there is no need to re-post your comment.


3) What if i want to write an article in the blog?

4)What is RSS?


RSS = (Really Simple Syndication) which is a new technology that is provided at Genistra.com . By RSS you will be notified with the latest articles and contents.

2) click on the RSS button in the home page , a window will open copy the link address of this new window.


3) Now start your news reader program ,from file menu > new channel , then paste the link , and you're done .

First of all lets understand what is (My Yahoo, My MSN , Google Personalized Home Page) .If you have an account with yahoo,( which means you have a yahoo ID and email) you will also be able to access what is called MY Yahoo Page . My yahoo page is your personal page online where you can for example choose to view your country weather , your stocks prices ,your horoscope , your favorite news content ( technology news , world news, Music new) , etc . Also you can customize the looks of your page by changing the layout and colors. MSN has MY MSN and lately after introducing gmail Google made what's called Google Personalized Home Page .

Ok Now you are wondering why are these links in the home page , well among all of the things that you can add to your personal page you can also add the latest headlines from Genistra.com and any other websites that supports the RSS.

Once you click on you will be asked to login to your yahoo account , then you will click a button that says ( Add to My Yahoo) and your done . For , its the same procedure .

MSN , Yahoo and Google Provides a service called Alerts. For Example, If you have a hotmail e-mail service any new updates from the site will be delivered to your hotmail Inbox or MSN messenger. Also if have the msn Mobile service Whenever new posts are submitted in the site you will be notified.
